国産基盤モデル開発事業者JAPANESE FOUNDATION MODEL DEVELOPERS
Shisa.AI is officially listed on METI & NEDO's GENIAC program, named alongside Fujitsu, NEC, Rakuten, Preferred Networks and the National Institute of Informatics.
Teams entering GENIAC-PRIZE's social-implementation track must build on a listed domestic model, and Shisa models qualify.

Checkpoints and ablations from the GENIAC training runs are published, so the path to each model can be inspected.
03 · Made safer
For GENIAC-PRIZE's safety competition we released NEDO-Safety-Qwen2.5-7b-Instruct, an open model that targets refusals triggered by bias. On our test set, those refusals fell from 58 of 180 prompts to 5, while the measured Japanese MT-Bench score went up.
